Bartlett High School and Bartlett Middle School were given an accountability rating of RECOGNIZED on the 1996-97 AEIS by the TEA.
Over 72% of the 1996 graduates enrolled in a college or technical school.
Twenty-six percent of our 1996 senior class were concurrently enrolled in Temple Jr. College.  They received dual credit for high school graduation as well as college credit towards degree completion.
Our school has sent students to the state UIL spelling competion for the past six years: 92, 93, 94, 95, 96 and 97.
Bartlett voters passed a $2 million bond authorization in May, 1997 to complete the construction of the high school complex; including 6 classrooms, band complex and new gymnasium and to include renovations to the middle school.
Three 1997 graduates and two 1998 graduates received athletic scholarships to college.
Over 29%  of Bartlett  teachers have more than twenty years of experience.
Over 27% of Bartlett teachers have advanced degrees.
Bartlett teachers have an average of more than 14 years of experience in teaching and more than 8 years in the district.
Students have access to an alternative program at the Bell County Alternative School.  This school is designed as an accelerated program, program for pregnant students, or an alternative placement for disciplinary reasons.  This school has already been used by several of our students to accelerate their graduation and to serve as a deterrent to dropping out of school.
Bartlett ISD  has one full-time counselor and one part-time counselor and a fully certified librarian.
All Bartlett  classrooms  are equipped with networked Internet computers. There are also two fully networked and Internet accessible computer labs, along with a 25-station CCC Mathematics lab and a 9-station Writing to Read lab.
