The Bartlett Independent School District believes each student to be a unique individual with the potential to develop a high degree of physical, moral and social accountability.  The District shall endeavor to maintain an educational program that will encourage each student to develop personal knowledge, skills, and competence to his/her maximum capacity, and to learn behavior patterns which will make him/her a responsible member of society.  It is with this mission in mind that the board of trustees, the administration, and the staff of BISD challenge the student to gain the essential academic skills which will provide a firm foundation for future life.
