Dean Of Students - Amanda Grigsby

I can't believe that the 2018-2019 school year is upon us already!

I am so excited to be in my 3rd year at Bartlett ISD and being able to help our students pave a confident road to their post-secondary goals.
The goal is to have ALL students college and/or career ready when they graduate from Bartlett ISD.
We have an excellent array of endorsement opportunities for students in our Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes that offer industry certifications that prepare them for entering the workforce or enhance their 'soft' skills so that they are better employees or students in the future.
I also assist students in SAT/ACT/ApplyTexas/ FAFSA and scholarships, as well as oversee our dual credit students, and am the UIL Coordinator for the district.

A little extra about me:
I received my Bachelor's Degree from Sam Houston State University in 2008 in Animal Science, and I taught ag science classes for 8 years. I obtain my Master's Degree in 2015 in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce. My family and I reside in Bartlett and have for over 10 years. My oldest son, Aydon, is a proud Bulldog entering the 1st grade, and Kyle will be 2 in October.
In my free time I love to read, cook/bake, be outside, baseball, and hunting and fishing!
