    Hello Bartlett Family,

It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed Principal of Bartlett Elementary School. It is my privilege and honor to join your Bartlett community, which has already given me such a warm welcome!  In just the few interactions I’ve had with staff, students and families so far, it’s become clear that this school is a unique and special place.

I look forward to learning and growing with our amazing students, teachers, parents, and community members.   I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than 14 years.  For the past five years, I have served as an Assistant Principal under the leadership of outstanding Principals.  On a personal note, I live in Salado with my husband Jared who is a Coach and my Son Caine who is an 8th grader along with our two dogs Camo and Jagger. We enjoy being outside, watching and playing sports, and traveling.

Over the past years, I have worked as a teacher, interventionist and an administrator, but I consider my most important job to be that of a child advocate. I will spend a lot of time with your children, getting to know their personalities, learning styles and interests. I will celebrate their successes, small and large. I will encourage them every day and let them know they are valued and have a special place in our school. I believe in all children and I also believe that learning is fun. My goal is to ensure that every student is provided the highest quality education possible in a safe and supportive learning environment. Working together as a team with our staff, parents, and community, I am committed to helping each student achieve their very best.

Not only am I excited to begin working with your children, but I look forward to the work we will do together. I am excited to see your children through your eyes. I cannot wait to share with you the great things they do throughout their days here at Bartlett Elementary.  As Principal, my door is always open and I welcome your input. Please feel free to stop in or call to make an appointment to discuss your concerns, suggestions, or ideas to help make this year the best it can be!

I am truly blessed to be the instructional leader of such an awesome school community.

    Go Bulldogs!
