Welcome!!  My name is Janet Hill. I am really excited about teaching your little Bulldogs and Lassies this year, so I wanted to give you some information about myself!

I have lived in Bartlett for the majority of my life.  I also attended Bartlett Schools from Kindergarten through 12th grade.  I was Salutatorian of my graduating class. I attended Temple Junior College and earned a certificate in data processing.  A few years later, I returned to Temple College and earned an Associates Degree.  Then I transferred to Tarleton State University where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in teaching. I've been working for Bartlett ISD for twenty-seven years.  For the past 19 years, I have been teaching first grade, except for one year in fourth grade.

 I am blessed with one amazing son Luke, who will be a Freshman Bartlett Bulldog this year!

In first grade this year, we will be teaching and learning at a higher level of thinking and processing.  In Reading, we will working on decoding, reading fluency, reading comprehension and inferencing.  In Math, we will be using and interactive white board and manipulatives for a hands on approach.
